Description

Breitling’s iconic Navitimer pilot’s chronograph, developed by Willy Breitling in 1952, became the official timepiece of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) two years later. The AOPA, the world’s largest pilots’ club, embraced it, and it became a symbol of the golden age of civil aviation, worn by airline captains and aviation enthusiasts. Astronaut Scott Carpenter even took it to space in 1962. Not just pilots, but celebrities like Miles Davis and Serge Gainsbourg appreciated its style and function.

The latest Navitimer retains classic features while adding modern touches like a slimmer slide rule, curved crystal, and new dial colors in blue, green, and copper. Notably, the AOPA wings return to their original position at 12 o’clock. For 70 years, this iconic pilot’s watch has been loved by aviators and trendsetters alike, worn by astronauts in space and the world’s biggest stars.
